Sudarsan Pattnaik sand art in Japan sand exhibition

Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik sculpted the Konark Sun Temple’s iconic Chakra at the on-going International Sand Art Exhibition in Japan. When it comes to sand art, the first name that pops up on our mind is Sudarsan Pattnaik.
International famous sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has carved a stunning replica of an iconic Odisha monument at the ongoing International Sand Art Exhibition in Japan.
The sand sculpture of Odisha has showcased the classic facade of the Sun Temple of Konark with the iconic Konark Chakra at the exhibition.
The sand exhibition has the sculpture by this acclaimed sand artist from Puri, along with that of about 21 participating artists from all over the world at the famous Tottori sand museum of Japan. The theme of the exhibition is South Asia.
Pattnaik displayed his stunning work of art through his Twitter handle and wrote:
“My sand sculpture of #Konark wheel at International #SandArt Exhibition in a sand museum in Japan. 21 artists from around the world are participating in this exhibition.”
