Chirkut now has a Release date

Here we have great news for all Papu Pam Pam fans. The actor, director and music composer’s debut film ‘Chirkut’ now has a release date.
‘Chirkut’ will release on May 10, 2019. The production house had also announced earlier that the first day of the film’s release will be free all over the state, whatever be the number of the halls in which it will be screened. This is probably the first time in the history of Odia cinema that an Odia film will be screened free of cost for a day. The actor said – “I am fortunate to have been cured and returned back to life from near death. And I believe all this happened because of the love and support I got from my fans and well-wishers. So I requested Producer Akshaya Parija and he agreed to let me go ahead with this.”
The comedy superstar turned director, Papu has also composed music for Chirkut and worked with singers Asima Panda, Antara Chakraborty, Bishnu Mohan Kabi. There are 6 songs in total including one classical, one 90s melody, one Kawali, and one item number in typical ‘Odia Kandana’ (Odia village women’s crying) style.” The lyrics have been penned by Deepak Jena, Suresh Panda, and Sumit Jena while Lubun and Tubun have choreographed all the songs in this film. Chirkut will also make the debut of two newcomers Aurojit and Ananya in lead roles The story of the film revolves around a newspaper hawker boy and his love story.
