Sudarsan Pattnaik’s sand art at Barabati Stadium for India v/s Srilanka Match
Padmashri Sudharsan Pattnaik has created an incredible Sand Art in the stadium premises to provide a glimpse of Odisha’s rich culture & heritage to the players of both the teams as well as spectators visiting Barabati Stadium.
He had also created a beautiful sand sculpture at Biju Patnaik International Airport on Monday in order to welcome Indian and Sri Lankan cricket teams.
Pattnaik, through his Twitter page, had said earlier that he would create a sand art during the T20 match for the first time at Barabati Stadium. He had also visited the stadium recently.
A three-tier security has been set up for the match. As many as 63 platoons of police will be deployed in Cuttack and 18 platoons in Bhubaneswar for the smooth conduct of the match.
The Commissionerate Police conducted a carcade rehearsal from the city airport to Mayfair Hotel to escort the players and team officials.
The Sand Art has a message of Good Luck with a Ball, Bat & national flags of both the countries.The Sand Art has now become a crowd puller with many people gathering to have a glimpse of it.
The sand art at the T-20 India-SriLanka match is the first-ever sand art by Sudharshan Pattnaik in Barabati Stadium.
