Sudarshan Pattnaik and London Olympics


Sudarshan Pattnaik’s Best wishes  to the Indian contingent , OLYMPICS 2012

It’s a dream for any athlete in this world to win an Olympic medal for his/her nation, but to participate in the biggest sporting event, the players have to qualify through various tournaments. Indian players are also working very hard to make their dream of winning an Olympic medal come true and just because of their hard work and determination 47 players from our country have qualified for the Olympics so far. Here are their names according to their event in which they have qualified.

Before the London Olympics got off to a colourful begin, Pattnaik  wished  to greet the Indian contingent  through his sand  sculpture. Patnaik said, “I create this as  I like sports and to encourage  Team India and to wish them  perform best in Olympic game said the Sand sculpture master . I wish India will bring a lot of  medals for our country. Before conjointly I created several sand sculptures on sports.”

In this sculpture pattnaik shows the Olympic ring and sports symbols. To create this 5ft high sand sculpture pattnaik took 3 hours and used about 4tones of sand. He conjointly used some colour sand on it . Students of his sand art college be a part of hand with him.

So far Sudarsan has participated in additional than fifty International sand sculpture championships and festivals round the World and won several prizes for our country. Recently he won the Copenhagen International sand sculpture championship and 2 medal at Spain. He is brand ambassador of NALCO.Every Odia is Proud of the Sand sculpture Master .
