Renowned Ollywood star Minaketan Lost Battle Against Cancer
Last night Renowned Odia film star Minaketan Das passed away after prolonged illness at his residence in Bhubaneswar.The Ollywood star was suffering from Pancreatic Cancer and being treated at Mumbai-based Asian Cancer Institute.
He was initially admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar after complaining of body pain. Later, after being diagnosed with cancer, he had to be shifted to Mumbai.
He was known for his versatile acting skills both in Odia cine industry & Jollywood as the ‘bad man’ and etched a mark for all times to come.Not only in negetive roles,he fits every charector he plays.
As soon as the news spread, almost all from his fraternity, intellectuals,film lovers and fans rushed to his house to pay last respect.His demise also left many Odia Opera or Jollywood artists teary-eyed.
He was last seen in films like Agastya , Jie Jaha kahu mora Dho and many more .The actor had received several state-level awards and accreditation throughout his career.
