Ollywood Singer Tapu Mishra Succumbs To Covid19. Famous Ollywood playback singer Tapu Mishra passed away due to Covid-19 on 20 June 2021, Saturday. The singer breathed her last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
Tapu Mishra was in home isolation after she tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus. Later she was shifted to a private hospital for treatment after her condition deteriorated.
She was wheeled into another COVID hospital and put in ventilator support. But she did not show any signs of improvement. Her oxygen level gradually decreased and subsequently, she passed away today following cardiac arrest.
The 36-year-old singer breathed her last at around 11 pm. She was put on ventilator support as saturation (SPO2) level was fluctuating. The saturation level dropped drastically since last two days.
Her father had also died due to COVID-related complications on May 10.
The entire Odia film industry mourns the untimely death of the singer due to coronavirus. Condolences also poured in from all quarters of life for the deceased singer.
Tapu Mishra has lent her voice for several Odia movies and bhajans. Besides, she used to release her own album songs.
