Odisha Tourism has come up with an innovative campaign to attract tourists from across the globe. Odisha‘aah’ is the recently launched campaign of Odisha Tourism. This innovative campaign is planned to attract both domestic and overseas tourists. The campaign ‘Odishaaah’, is aimed to project unexplored yet marvelous tourist destinations of Odisha.
The campaign is already drawing appreciations from various quarters & is launched at airports in New Delhi and Mumbai besides metro stations.
The State Government has launched the campaign across various promotional mediums like digital, electronic, print and social media. According to the news, mostly the campaign will focus on unexplored or underexplored tourism spots and it will extensively promote Odisha as a brand across all platforms.
Odisha, known as the land of Lord Jagannath offers diverse destinations but most of its places are lesser-known outside the State. The new campaign is expected to help capitalize our brand identity – Odisha, India’s Best Kept Secret and develop curiosity besides drawing more visitors.
The State Government is now focusing more on sports and tourism and the campaign will create a distinct brand for Odisha Tourism on the lines of other widely circulated brands that promoted Goa and Kerala.
In the state, there are many well-known destinations like Chilika, Cuttack, Daringbadi, Deomali, Satkosia, Similipal, and Gopalpur apart from Puri and Konark. Not only that Odisha is also known for its traditional cuisines, temples, and tribal arts that can mesmerize visitors.
The campaign “Odishaah” is spelled like this because, whenever we see a beautiful thing, our first reaction comes – Aah. So this “Aah” has been added to the name of State.
During the World Cup Hockey last year, the ‘Odisha by Morning, Hockey by Evening’ campaign was widely appreciated. There is no doubt this sacred land is one of the best places for tourists of all kinds.
