Preparation begins in the Millennium city



While driving by the bank of river katha Jori , you can witness the beauty of   Kasa Tandi  flower the beauty of autumn , which will remind you of the devotional song by Namita Agarwal  “Kasa Tandi phule phule aseela asichi” and this will make you feel that its time for the most awaited festival “Durga Puja” .The sweeping expanses of these feathery, long-stalked, white broom like blossoms under the azure sky graces the landscape.Indians associate these flowers with Durga Puja. Durga Puja, the most happening festival of the KATKIS can be sensed with its spurt of fanfare on all the four days of the Durga Puja festival. While 15 – 20 days left for the festive, the preparation has already begun which you can see different sahi’s and puja mandaps . This year Phiring Bazar Puja committee will be the latest to jump to the silver bandwagon this year .  The silver tableau will be made of 2 quintal silver and will have a replica of 31 butterflies in it . Not only the silver tableau , there will be many latest and colorful decorations will eye catching gates to be witnessed in the silver city of Odisha .
