Boost Thyself organised it’s very first Open mic “ShOUT:- Show Out Your Talent” at The Kanopy Restaurant located at KIIT Square in Bhubaneswar.
Boost Thyself organized it’s very first open mic event named “ShOUT : Show Out Your Talent” at The Kanopy Restaurant located at KIIT Square in the capital city of Odisha on 29 October 2017, to boost the confidence of the budding artists to showcase their talents.
It’s really great step by the team of Boost Thyself taking interest to boost the confidence of Artists of Bhubaneswar.Boost Thyself was started with the vision to spread positivity and inspire people. It features positive and inspirational stories on its website.Recently they started their open mic “ShOUT” and it happened to be the very first event of BT in Bhubaneswar.
“It was a grand event even if its the first event of its kind by Boost Thyself. I got only a week to manage everything. 36 candidates attended the event, out of that 28 were participants in different content like Poetry Recitation, Storytelling, Singing, Motivational Talks, and the band”, said Pranendu Pradhan who was taking the lead for the event, with his partner Sabhyasachi Sethi.
The best smart city of India needs such smart ventures to keep the spirit of budding Artists alive. Because, everyone has a story or something to share, but s/he doesn’t get the platform to share. The open mic is the very apt platform where one can speak one’s heart out and showcase the unique talent which s/he possesses.
Talking with Akhilesh Maurya AKA Mr Booster, regarding his venture Boost Thyself and open mics, he said,”Boost Thyself has been started to just spread positivity, inspire people to boost them. I thought to start open mic ‘ShoUt’ because I observed, there are a lot of talented people with unique talent of Arts in them, but they don’t get the platform to showcase their talent. Yes, there are a lot many Open mic events happening in the country but they are too popular that common and new budding artists don’t get the chance to perform there. Hence we thought to start to ShOUt to boost the confidence of budding artists”
