Like Nayaksahi, a small Puja committee is famous for making a cartoon Ravaan.
The Ravaan laughs, jumps his leg like a king, etc. Similarly, Chatra Bazaar is known for the Macha Kata Besar Bata show. A show of wooden characters who obeys their master and do whatever said by the instructors. Adding to the list Choudhary bazaar is known for Golden Crown of all Lords & Goddesses in the idols and Pithapur is known for the Kalia Dalana idols of Lord Krishna. The list goes on. But here we will share with you something beautiful and amazing for which all the peoples of Odisha should be proud.
Bakhrabaad puja mandap every year celebrates the festival in a very unique style. During the Puja, the committee does not install idols of Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna & Goddess Durga but they install Bharat Mata idols. The Puja committee installs & worships the idol of Bharat Mata during the 6 days Puja. Patriotic songs are played at the mandap and prasad is distributed every day. The immersion or bhasani Utsav is different from all other medhas of the city. People hold National Flag and walks in the procession in the tune of patriotic songs.
While Bharat Mata is worshiped during Durga Puja, Chinna Masataka Kali is worshiped during the Kali Puja celebration in Cuttack. The puja mandap installs Chandi Medha during Kali Puja.
