Akshaya Tritiya Odia greetings Wallpapers. According to the Hindu culture, it is the day when Lord Ganesha, the god of knowledge and wisdom started writing the epic Mahabharata to Ved Vyas’s dictation. It is observed as one of the four most auspicious days of the year.
The day is also celebrated as the birthday of Lord Parashuram. Lord Parshuram is the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. According to Hindu mythology, on this day the Treta Yuga began and the river Ganges, the most sacred river of India, descended to the earth from heaven.
