Tandav is released in these theatres in Odisha: After a long wait, Tandav is released and getting positive reviews both from the audience and critics. The first show was houseful in most of the theatres including Cuttack, Angul, Baripada, Bhadrak.

Tandav is the story of Debasis Das alias Dev belongs to a middle-class family. Dev has full faith in Lord Shiva & lives a normal life with his parents and sister. He is leading a happy life with his fiancé & dreaming about his rosy future. But destiny has some different plans for him.

Dev gets lifetime imprisonment because of a rape and murder case which he hasn’t committed. His whole life gets scattered in front of his eyes. And he couldn’t do anything. His days in jail are no bed of roses. The story revolves around his life, his days in jail, whether he is able to prove himself not guilty, how he takes revenge.

The film features Ollywood’s new star Debasis aka Dev, Aanisha Sharma, Chandrani, Mihir Das, Manoj Mishra. After a long gap, the audience enjoys and seen clapping at the fight scenes, mostly the larger scale action scene inside a Jail.
