15th Toshali National Crafts Mela Bhubaneswar
15th Toshali National Crafts Mela Bhubaneswar: 15th Toshali National Crafts Mela started on 21 January 2021 at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar and continue till February 5 (Friday).
The Mela is organized by the Textile and Handicrafts Department of Government of Odisha. Artisans, weavers, and sculptors from all over the country are participating in the mela. Sarees, shawls, earthenware, varieties of masks, porcelain, dress material, junk jewelry, Lord Jagannath idols, idols made of wood & stones, and shoes are been sold like hot cakes in the mela.
While the fair draws huge crowds every year, the Mela was less crowded on day one. The 15 years old Mela was inaugurated by Hon’ble CM Shri. Naveen Pattnaik. This year no cultural programs will be conducted to avoid the gatherings and the Mela will be opened every day from 2 PM to 9 PM.
