BJD declares candidates for 36 Assembly seats in Odisha

Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President and Odisha Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik today named candidates for 36 Assembly constituencies in the State. Tickets were denied to six sitting MLAs.

The following candidates have been given ticket to contest the Assembly election:

Angul – Rajananikant Singh

Brahmagiri – Sanjaya Das Burma

Ekamra Bhubaneswar – Ashok Chandra Panda

Banki – Debi Ranjan Tripathi

Patkura- Bed Prakash Agrawal

Aul- Pratap Keshari Deb

Bhandaripokhari – Prafulla Kumar Samal

Binjharpur- Pramila Mallick

Badamba Narsinghpur – Debi Prasad Mishra

Chhendipada – Susant Kumar Behera

Simulia – Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi

Sukinda- Priti Ranjan Ghadai

Dharmasala- Pranab Balabantaray

Chandbali – Byomkesh Ray

Choudwar-Cuttack – Souvik Biswal

Parjanga – Nrushingha Sahu

Mahanga – Pratap Kumar Jena

Remuna – Sudhansu Sekhar Parida

Basudevpur – Bishnubrata Routray

Salepur- Prasant Behera

Nayagarh- Arun Kumar Sahu

Kuchinda- Kishore Chandra Nayak

Karanjia – Basanti Hembram

Ghasipura- Badri Narayan Patra

Mahakalpada- Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak

Keonjhar- Madhab Sardar

Telkoi – Premananda Nayak

Bhogarai -Ananta Kumar Das

Talcher- Braja Kishore Pradhan

Dhenkanal – Sudhir Kumar Samal

Hindol- Seema Rani Nayak

Kamakhyanagar- Prafulla Mallick

Athagarh – Ranendra Pratap Swain

Satyabadi – Umakant Samantray

Patana – Jagannath Nayak

Ranapur – Satya Narayan Pradhan

These seats will go to polls in the third and fourth phases on April 23 and 29. Odisha has 21 Lok Sabha and 147 Assembly constituencies, which will face simultaneous polls in four phases from April 11.
