‘The News Insight’ Launched in Bhubaneswar
“An English Fortnightly newspaper, The News Insight is formally launched on 30th Sept at IDCOL Auditorium, Bhubaneswar. This Fortnightly is being published in a tabloid format and focuses on hyper local, regional, national issues and features submitted by journalists, reporters, writers across the country.
TNI also publishes articles related to the capital city contributed by local residents who work as citizen journalists. Shri Arun Sahoo, Minister for Energy, I & PR inaugurated the Ceremony by lighting the lamp and addressed the ceremony as the chief speaker. Then the meeting was presided by Shri. Ramahari Mishra, Director at Naxtra Institute of Media Studies.
Speaking on this development, Mr. Sagar Satapathy, Editor, The News Insight said, “We will try our best to carry the voice of the people in our state. We have a clear focus on opinion and analysis rather than common news. Our goal will be to reach out to the masses, express our solidarity with them and at the same time forward their views, concerns and opinions to the establishment without indulging in negativity”.
Shri. Ramesh Chandra Majhi, Minister for Science & Technology, Sports & Youth Services and Shri Pradeep Majhi, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Nabarangpur also spoke out on this occasion.
Among others Mrs Sarojini Patra, Publisher of ‘The News Insight’ and Mrs. Priyanka Mishra, Managing Director, ‘Consumer Media Network’ were also present at the inaugural function.
