In memory of The Legendary Basant Nayak
On the occasion of 2nd death anniversary of Late.Basant Nayak , The legendary film maker of Odia Film Industry and the god father of many actors and actress of the Industry , The Film Journalist Forum has organised “7th Smruti Chaya” by presenting Brajraj Movies produced film “Naga Phasa” on 26th June,2013 at Jaydev Bhavan , Bhubaneswar , 6pm onwards .
Naga Phasa is an Odia film released in 1977 . The film was directed and produced by Basant Nayak , the legendary Odia Film maker . The movie stars Shriram Panda, Prashanta Nanda, Malvika Roy, Banaja Mohanty and Bijay Mohanty in the leading roles, with Jayee and Nari in supporting roles .The film was first of its kind in Oriya movie history/Ollywoood ,the film is a genre of mystrical drama . Akshya Mohnaty’s music created a great hysteria for the year 1977.
