Damadamani Pitha is one of the famous picnic spots in Cuttack. The place is named after the Goddess Dam Damani, located amidst a green forest of Dalijoda and a perennial stream flowing nearby. This is mostly known for picnic and Lord Damadamani and most visited by picnickers and devotees.
According to the ancestors, The Pandavas during the exile had remained incognito near the kingdom of Birat. The forest was a hunting ground of a king, but today is a part of National Forest Reserve.
