The longest bridge of Odisha – The T Setu
The T-Setu on Mahandi river, is the longest bridge of Odisha. It was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik on 20 the December 2021. In February 2014 CM had laid its foundation stone and it was completed in the end of 2021. The length of this bridge is 3,100 meter and has been built at a cost of ₹ 111 Crore.
The bridge will highly benefit the people of Cuttack and Khurda districts, as it will reduce the distance between Badamba and Narasinghpur in Cuttack and Banki in Khordha by 50 km. The bridge cuts the distance between Badamba and Narasinghpur in Cuttack and Banki in Khordha by 45 km.
