Small and beautiful Lord Karthik Bhasani , Jagatpur 

Jagatpur is situated to the river bank of Birupa under Cuttack Municipality.The small and beautiful village is famous for kendrapara Canel,Bat Forest,Maa Andhari temple and Gopinath Temple. The temple recently celebrated Navakalebar of Lord Krishna.The villagers celebrate Karthik Purnima and Lord Karthik Puja with great enthusiasm.The festive starts from Karthik Purnima and ends the day after Chadkhai(The End of karthik Month).On the last day , idols of Lord Kathik are brought to one place with lights and decors and Djs , Bands . Then the procession proceeds to Birupa  river for immersion.
