The Grand Finale of Nayantara Season 5 Concludes Fashion World’s Popular Event
The grand finale of Nayantara Season 5 took place at Padmaja Premium in Bhubaneswar, featuring categories such as Miss, Mister, Kids, and Mrs. India Nayantara. The participants of Miss India Nayantara, Kids India Nayantara, Mrs. India Nayantara, and Mister India Nayantara walked the ramp in the grand finale.
Nayantara Season 5 was organized recently at Stalwart Jajati, where 450 hopefuls registered to participate. From these, 20 contestants were shortlisted through virtual auditions, demonstrating their talents in various tasks including dance, yoga, and acting. Under the guidance of Saswat Joshi, the participants prepared themselves for the competition, after three months of continuous effort, the finale was held at Hotel Padmaja.
During the event, participants walked the ramp in various designer outfits across four segments: Miss, Mrs., Kids, and Mr. categories. Three contestants from each category were declared winners, runners-up, and second runners-up.
On this occasion, Nayantara’s founder Saswat Joshi mentioned that Nayantara was conceived during the COVID period to provide a good platform for the youth of Odisha. He emphasized that young people should not have to struggle outside their home state to showcase their talents; Nayantara aims to provide them with good opportunities.
Designers featured at the event included Utkal Amrita, Nishis Flair, Sam and Seri, and Kainchi. Styling was done by Sibyan Sarun, and the jewelry collaboration was by Ind Hijra’s Sasmita Samal. The show was directed by Subodh Chand and Ratan S. Special collaborations were made with mentors Sagarika Mohanty, Sai Jyoti, Neha Bohidar, Sudhanshu Shatapath, and Swastitapa. The event was hosted by Sikriti Panda, while the planning and filming were overseen by global dancing icon Saswat Joshi.
