Lahari Odia Movie, directed by Amartya Bhattacharya, is a heartfelt exploration of tradition, transformation, and emotional conflict. After its world premiere at the 30th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) on December 8, 2024, the film made its theatrical debut across Odisha on September 12, 2025.
Produced under Jhilik Motion Pictures by Jhilik Bhattacharjee, with Swastik Choudhury serving as the creative producer, Lahari features a stellar ensemble of renowned Odia actors including Choudhury Bikash Das, Choudhury Jayaprakash Das, Smruti Mahala, Dipanwit Dashmohapatra, Susant Mishra, Swastik Choudhury, and Zeinab Qusai Doer.

Lahari Odia Movie on OTT
Lahari has recently been released in theaters, and fans are eagerly waiting to know when it will be available on OTT platforms. Although the official OTT release date has not yet been announced, the film is expected to stream online in the coming months.
Leading Odia OTT platforms such as AAO Nxt, Kancha Laanka, Tarang Plus, ZEE5, and JioCinema (Hotstar) are likely contenders for its digital release. While Odia OTT premieres have been somewhat irregular lately, more clarity about Lahari’s streaming release is expected soon.
Recently, several Odia films like Karma, Ghamaghot, Bhabantara, and Kerek were released on AAO Nxt, raising expectations that Lahari might also follow the same route.
