Choudwar Laxmi Puja 2012
After the Complete Update of Cuttack Durga Puja , OdiaLive brings you the Update of the historic Choudwar Laxmi Puja Festival 2012 which is also known as Choudwar KumarPurnima Yatra.
Around 40 Puja Mandaps participate in the festival.Maa Laxmi is worshiped in the puja mandaps on the occasion of Kumar purnima and the festive continues for 4 days & on the final day the idols are brought for immersion in River Birupa.Apart from Maa laxmi,Lord Shiva,Maa Durga,Lord krishna,Lord Hanuman are also being worshiped in respective Puja Mandaps. The Festive is also known as Small Baliyatra in the locality.
