8 Odia Films which should be remade
There are a number of South movies that have been remade in Odia . In fact, some of the blockbuster films of the Ollywood are actually official remakes of south films.There are also Odia movies that have been remade in Hindi and other languages which not many of us know about. These film includes Sesha Srabana which was later remade in Hindi as “Naiyya : East Man Color”. Naiyya : East Man Color was released in 1979 directed by Prashanta Nanda and starring Mr.Prashanta Nanda himself and Zarina Wahab in lead.The original odia version Sesha Srabana was directed by Mr.Prashanta Nanda starring himself and Maheswata Roy in lead.
Recently we had news of the remake of Danda Balunga with Ollywood Superstar Arindam in lead . If we are said to make a list of some Odia films which can be a good remake , then here are some films which can be a good remake and that too an interesting watch .
