PM Modi Meets BJP Legislators and MPs in Bhubaneswar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an extensive two-hour meeting on Friday evening with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators, MPs, and other party functionaries at the BJP state office in Bhubaneswar.
The meeting was attended by key leaders, including Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Jual Oram, Ashwini Vaishnaw, BJP state President Manmohan Samal, and other senior party members.
The discussions focused on governance, development, and enhancing the BJP’s grassroots presence in Odisha. PM Modi reviewed the performance of the state government, particularly the progress of development projects and the implementation of welfare schemes. He appreciated the state government’s efforts in fulfilling election promises and urged public representatives to ensure that government initiatives reach all sections of society.
Sources reported that PM Modi also discussed strategies to strengthen the BJP’s presence in the state, emphasizing grassroots expansion, membership drives, and more active public engagement by MPs, MLAs, and ministers.

After the meeting, which was followed by dinner, PM Modi left for Raj Bhawan in a carcade.
Earlier on Friday, PM Modi arrived in Bhubaneswar for a three-day visit, receiving a warm welcome at the Biju Patnaik International Airport. Following his arrival, he attended a special felicitation program organized by Odisha BJP, where he addressed party workers.
PM Modi is in the state to participate in the All-India Conference of Director Generals/Inspector Generals of Police 2024, which is being held from November 30 to December 1 at the State Convention Centre, Lok Seva Bhawan. The conference was inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and it includes participation from top officials such as the Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, National Security Advisor, Union Ministers of State (Home), DGPs from various states and union territories, and heads of Central Police Organizations.
