Odisha tableau in Republic Day 2016
The parade of Republic Day in New Delhi is the best example of Incredible India .Almost every state showcased the beauty of their land with their unqiue art & culture . Odisha showcased its glorious tradition of ” Boita Bandana ” with the Sambalpuri folk dance Dalkhai through its tableau.
The tableau featured the great Sadhava tradition of the state , who were great maritime traders. More than 140 dancers group comprising of school girls danced to the tune of popular folk music .
