Jagatpur police arrested Mohammad Arman, who had sent an audio message against India. Jagatpur police have arrested a young man on charges of making anti-national and anti-communist remarks which then became viral on social media. According to news, the arrested youth is Mohammad Arman of Satbatia village, West Panchayat, Salepur block. Police also seized a mobile phone from Arman. As per Jagatpur police, India lost to Pakistan in the T20 cricket match on 24th October. Arman posted an audio message supporting Pakistan and against India on his social media WhatsApp group.
“I love Pakistan,” he said. Dissatisfaction was expressed in the local area after the audio went viral. Jagatpur police officer Rabindra Nath Meher rushed to the spot after receiving information from a source. Arriving at the village of Satbatia, he found out that the incident was true after discussing with the localities and taking statements from various people.
Jagatpur police have registered a case against the accused and the CRPC has recorded the statements of the witnesses in 181 and arrested the accused. A case has been registered in Jagatpur police station in case number 453/21 under sections 153 (b), 29, 506, 505 (2), 506, and RTI of the IPC, the Jagatpur police said.
