Baisakhi Vanijya Mela Cuttack
The Cuttack Baisakhi Vanijya Mela is going on at the historical Baliyatra ground in the silver city of Odisha.As many as 450 stalls, including of 80 corporate houses has been installed at the ground this year. Traders belonging to Odisha , Bihar , West Bengal, Gujarat, Assam, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi have also participated.A food court is another attraction of this year’s fair.
Objectives of Baisakhi Banijya Mela :
To provide a unique platform for FMCG, Consumer durables, Services etc.
To create a platform for SSI units / Cottage Industries to interact with Large scale, Govt. undertakings, Financial Institutions etc.
Projecting Business opportunities in Odisha.
To promote the products of small scale entrepreneurs.
To upgrade the Physical, Social and Urban infrastructure of the region.
Over all to promote the Trade & Commerce in the State and out side.
